If you’re one of those people who loves to get the jump on the next big thing, I recommend checking out THE LIGHT CHILDREN. The creators have brought to life a vivid new fantasy world populated with fascinating characters that achieves the rare tightrope act of appealing to adults while sucking the kids in, too. The high concept: a group of orphans uncover a possible conspiracy and embark upon a quest to save the life of one of their own. Book One provides great introductions to the cast and environment, and lets you have just enough of a taste of where things are heading to make you want the next installment to arrive PDQ. Give these n00bs a shot, they won’t disappoint.
