It’s that time of year again: Time to fork over your hard earned cash for fruitcakes and festive sweaters in the name of “Holiday Cheer.” But what to do when you’re stuck for ideas, buying for the friend who has everything, or suffering over the endless online selections? Team Brick is here to help! Maybe you won’t want to get any of this stuff for YOUR friends, but at least you’ll know what to get for us.
Isabel’s Wish List:

Everyday Food From the Kitchens of Martha Stewart Living I looked through this cookbook at Barnes & Noble this past weekend and was amazed with its beautiful photography and easy-to-follow directions. This one should definitely be in your kitchen. Found this in the store or online at Barnes & Noble for $17.41 and amazon.com for $16.47. I think it’s a little cheaper to buy online than in the store.
The Jason Bourne Collection Released this past Tuesday, I found a great bargain in the Sunday paper for the DVD set at Best Buy for only $34.99. Who wouldn’t want Matt Damon on her TV screen? He is the 2007 Sexiest Man Alive!
Snowshoe Mountain This would be a fantastic surprise for your significant other. Book a few nights during the midweek for cheaper deals and have a romantic getaway. Call Snowshoe Mountain for the latest packages and deals at 1-877-441-4FUN or online at http://www.snowshoemtn.com.
Seven For All Mankind Pricey, yes. But these jeans will make anyone’s ass look great. I’m wanting one with the new Seven design on the back pockets. Find Seven jeans at Nordstrom or Need Supply Co. in Carytown. Should preferably buy in-store since jeans tend to run long and will probably need alterations for shorter frames. Price varies from $148+.

Editor’s Pick:
iMainGo
The selling point to this is “Small System, Huge Sound!” and it describes this gadget perfectly! I’m usually a doubter when it comes to the small portable speakers but where most sound hollow, the iMainGo actually packs a punch! Perfect for camping, a picnic or just for keeping your tunes with you in a protective case. Just plug in your iPod and go! Great…now I’m going to have to buy one if it doesn’t magically appear in my stocking this year. Found locally at f.y.e. and Target for $49.99.

Classic Arcade Games
Sure, I’ve got the a closet full of old Atari games, the collected hits of Konami and Capcom for my Playstation and a SNES emulator on my computer, but an actual-factual, stand-up, stand-alone arcade game has been on my Christmas list since I was a tot. Purchase locally at Games People Play

No one in my family ever tells me what they want for Christmas and I’m tired of spending money on things they don’t like or won’t use. This year I’ve threatened to get them all goats.
