Boss battles can be the most challenging and annoying parts of a videogame, but a new download called You Have to Burn the Rope recently became a big hit around the Brick office.  The game’s designers must have gotten fed up with unsuccessfully replaying the same levels in their favorite games. 

I found the keystroke controls to move the character and make him jump to be the most troublesome part of the game.  Once you reach the top of the platforms, you have to figure out how to kill the boss, but if you’ve ever played through a few platform games, it should be a breeze.

This is perhaps the most simple boss battle I’ve ever encountered, but the real fun happens after the “Game Over” screen.  Sorry to be cryptic, but in the end, you’ll wonder if You Have to Burn the Rope is a really cool tech demo or some guy’s creative attempt to secure a recording contract.
