Local artists wanted!
December 06, 2007 4:01 PM

Thanks for all the submissions so far. We’re starting to stockpile a decent selection of possible covers, and we’re totally excited to keep it local, local, local! We’ve seen some good stuff come in. Keep it coming!

We want to see what you do, what you make, what you’re proud of. We know you want to see your work in print! We know all you artists and photographers and crafty-type people are out there. Hell, we’ve got one of the best art schools on the East Coast right next door, so give it up!  If it worked for Jones Soda, it could work for us.

Drop us a line and show us a sample of your art. Any style. Any medium. Any subject matter. Any anything! We’ll try to respond to all submissions and if we pick your piece for the cover, we’ll send you fifty bucks cold, hard cash (ok, probably, a cold, hard check that’s nearly guaranteed not to bounce) and that’ll be enough to buy you some hootch to fuel the creativity enough to send us another piece, which will get you another fifty bucks, which will–well, you see where I’m going with this.

Images must be submitted electronically, and must be large hi-res (200 dpi) files. If you have questions or problems, or don’t know how to use your computer or the Internets, then you won’t get $50. Sorry, but I know how you artistic types are.

What’s the deal with the Brick site? It hasn’t been updated in weeks. Seeing as I’m out of town the site is the only place where I can read the weekly.

I’ve got a question for Brick. Is this site dead? It hasn’t been updated in weeks…
